E-museum is a software for the management and the online presentation on the web of small and medium museums. It integrates into a single platform several modules developed by CILEA according to its experience in the field of ICT. The modules can be chosen by each museums according to its needs and can be implemented at different times.

 

 

There are several important components in E-museum. The authentication module, that allows a single and flexible management of all the services provided by the museum. The CMS module, which supports the management, the organisation and the publishing of text and multimedia contents. The OA module, that allows the collection, filing and publishing of bibliographic production. The IC module that manages the inventory and the filing of items. The EL module, which provides support for the educational activities. The EC modules, which offers support for the management and proposals for making the museum into a commercial enterprise.

 

 

The GW (interoperability gateway) module was developed for the interfacing of a E-museum with other web systems and services, both internal and external to a museum.
