CILEA started working in the field of E-learning in 2000. It has staff that take care of analysing, developing, implementing and managing remote education systems. It also handles the activities concerned with producing didactic contents, according to the most common standards in the field of remote training/education.
The transcription of the notes from a course, or the writing of a whole course in electronic format, even possibly HTML, cannot be called a remote course. There are many actors in the game, some of the choices are complex and technological solutions must be carefully evaluated.
CILEA can fulfil the needs of its usual customers, universities and public research. It offers a wide range of solutions. But the same experience can be of use for others in the field of education: secondary schools and higher education schools, public administrations and small and medium enterprises.
The activity of CILEA in the E-learning field concerns the analysis of both the technological aspects of the software solution to be used and those concerning the didactic quality required.
All the activities are performed keeping in account both emerging and existing technologies, with special attention to the Open Source world. We do not neglect the problem of access to the information by disabled people.
The AFD (Assistenza alla Formazione a Distanza - Assistance to Remote Training) is able to fulfil a wide spectrum of needs of the customers, institutional or private, with different and, above all, customised, offers.
