This is a brief overview of the main activities and services that CILEA is able to offer in the field of remote training:

• Developing new courses or on-line didactic solutions: the assistance of an expert can help to better understand the path more suitable to one's needs.

• Preparation or conversion on-line of already existing didactic material. This is done by supporting the teachers in order to minimize the complexity of the job.

• Customisation of on-line environments already existing at CILEA for the needs of each single customer. This is possible thanks to our experience with products which are common and widely used.

• Supply of instruments for cooperative collaboration and the development of new didactic and technological solutions. It eliminates the need of installing and maintaining software on one's own servers which is often not easy to manage.

• Hosting of computers or software used to build E-learning solutions: one of our missions is to provide professional technical and logistic support of high quality.

• Hosting of already existing courses in an Open Source environment and in particular with Moodle (www.moodle.org), the solution currently used at CILEA with the greatest success.

• Upon request, installation and configuration of new E-learning platforms on CILEA's servers.

CILEA can also film and diffuse fluxes on internet audio and video. It can be done in streaming or multicast. The service is offered in real time or delayed, usable both for video-conferencing and to broadcast events on the net. The technological solutions adopted allow an easy integration of these services in the field of remote training and in that of the production and distribution on the net of multimedia.

All the activities and solutions described and developed by CILEA, both prototypes or production level, are installed on computers belonging to the consortium and living at the Segrate head-quarter.
