Thanks to the ongoing scientific collaboration with Eng. I.M. Viola [2] of University of Auckland and Prof. G. Passoni of the Politecnico di Milano, the HPC group of CILEA will present a poster at the 3rd International Conference on Advanced Computational Engineering and Experimenting (ACE-X 2009 [1]). The conference will be held in Rome, the 22 and the 23 June, 2009.
The presented work, entitled “CFD vs. wind-tunnel for an ACC sailing yacht: a turbulence modelling and grid resolution study” contains the advancing of the CFD analysis performed on an America’s Cup sailing yacht model presented in [3] and recently appeared also in [4].
